This policy explains how Eric Yealdhall, a sole proprietor operating as LumaNest (“LumaNest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with the LumaNest website, caregiver portal, applications, devices, and messaging program.
Information we collect
- Contact and account information, such as a caregiver’s name, email address, mobile number, and account settings.
- Consent records, including the disclosure shown, consent source, date, time, account, phone number, and opt-out status.
- Operational information, such as device identifiers, system health, assistance requests, notification status, acknowledgements, and event timestamps.
- Information users choose to provide, which may include resident display names, routines, photographs, voice information, and support communications.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure LumaNest, deliver requested caregiver notifications, maintain consent and delivery records, provide support, diagnose problems, and comply with law. We seek to limit notification content to what a caregiver needs to respond.
SMS and mobile information
We use mobile numbers only to provide the LumaNest messaging program requested by the recipient, administer consent and opt-outs, maintain security, and provide support. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers may process information for us solely to deliver and support the service—for example, telecommunications and hosting providers—subject to appropriate contractual restrictions. Carrier message and data rates may apply.
When we disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers acting on our behalf; when directed or authorized by the user; to protect people, rights, safety, and the service; or when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including security, consent, dispute-resolution, and legal requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may update notification settings in the caregiver portal. Reply STOP to any LumaNest text to stop SMS messages; reply HELP for assistance. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete applicable personal information by contacting us. Certain records may be retained where legally or operationally required.
Children
The public website and caregiver portal are not directed to children. Caregiver accounts and messaging enrollment are intended for adults.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the revised version with a new effective date.
